Intumescent Coatings for Cellulosic Fire are one component, thin film, solvent-borne intumescent coatings designed for fire protection of steelwork. These coatings expand when exposed to heat, forming a protective insulating char layer and providing fire resistance up to 90 minutes and up to 120 minutes under cellulosic fire conditions.
